BEYOND THE GAME
MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
A Program of The Sideline Collective Foundation
Because No One Gets There Alone
Every student-athlete has dreams.
Some dream of playing at the next level. Others dream of earning a college degree, building a successful career, supporting their family, or becoming leaders in their communities.
But talent alone is rarely enough.
Behind every successful athlete, student, and leader is someone who believed in them, guided them, challenged them, and helped them navigate life's opportunities and obstacles.
The Beyond the Game Mentorship Program was created to provide student-athletes with exactly that support.
Through meaningful, long-term mentor relationships, we connect young people with caring adults who are committed to helping them grow not only as athletes, but as students, leaders, and individuals.
Because while sports may open doors, character, education, leadership, and resilience are what create lasting success.
Our Mission
The Beyond the Game Mentorship Program exists to empower student-athletes through mentorship, guidance, leadership development, educational support, and personal growth opportunities that prepare them for success during high school and beyond.
Our goal is simple:
To ensure every participant has someone in their corner who believes in them, supports them, and helps them navigate the journey toward their future.

What Makes This Program Different?
Many mentorship programs focus on short-term interactions. Beyond the Game is designed to create lasting relationships. Students who join the program will be paired with mentors who will walk alongside them throughout their high school journey and continue to serve as a source of guidance as they transition into college, careers, military service, entrepreneurship, or other life pursuits. We believe mentorship is not a one-time conversation. It is a commitment. A commitment to showing up. A commitment to listening. A commitment to encouraging growth. A commitment to helping young people discover their full potential.
Who Can Participate?
The Beyond the Game Mentorship Program is open to student-athletes who are committed to personal growth, leadership development, academic success, and making a positive impact in their schools and communities.
Students may enter the program at any point during their high school journey and will receive support tailored to their individual goals and aspirations.
